Have a GREAT weekend!

** bear with me as I learn this site, you should be able to comment now**

I’ve spent my day trying to make this lil ole blog my home. WordPress has nothing on blogger in terms of templates, but i’ll make it work. I’m also having some trouble getting the html code for statcounter to work properly over here, but i’ll fight that battle another day.

**They announced yesterday that they were going to be eliminating 600 jobs in my department. They’ve started with the top department directors/administrators. Supposedly 150 people got pink slips in the mail.

A very good friend found out today that she was laid off. So i’m staying prayerful that the layoffs don’t hit me or many more people. Period.

**lol supposedly the office lurkers were deeply saddened when they tried to access my old blog. They obviously don’t want to read too bad, since no one asked/emailed me for access. *shrugs*

** weekend plans: BRIDE WARS and knitting. I have 1 1/4 sleeves to finish and a collar and i’ll be done.

  1. LOL yep, I can comment now 🙂

The blog is looking pretty good! Depsite the fact that a couple categories are no longer there 😉

So sad about people loosing their jobs….the economy SUCKS…

I’m gonna see Bride Wars too. Can’t wait.

No where NEAR finished with my current knit GG 😉 (Green Gable) but I’m working on it!

  2. Thanks for inviting me over to the new blog…and sorry about the other one going kaput! I was worried that I was going to miss your adventures especially since many a day you have put a smile on my face as well as one of my co-workers! On a very bad day, she will ask what’s going on with Patrice…you can always give us a much needed laugh.

You will be in my prayers that you are amongst the still employed…it is getting rough out there!!!

  3. Good luck girly with the job. I’ll be praying nothing happens to your job.

I hope you will post a pic of your creatiion. I would love to see it.

I see folks are still nosey around the workplace. Now you gotta go ad learn some new ish! Damn co-workers.

  4. HA HA at the “office lurkers.”

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you. Folks cant afford to be unemployed these days, not even for a hot second.

    Have a great weekend.

  5. hey lady…i finally found you…things have been kind of hectic lately, as you know, so I’m finally here.

Its crazy, CRAZY. Last week several people got pink slips at my office, also. I’m praying for you and yours.

  6. They didn’t ask you for the address cause they don’t want you to know they are reading. That’s no fun, who would spread the rumors around the office if you knew who was reading the blog?
